The owners and staff were very helpful and it definitely left an impact: two years later as I was trying to think of who I could turn to to have my board custom cut for display, I knew who to call. The staff was incredibly understanding and patient. Even when I couldn't figure out the exact dimensions, they took their time inquiring me and helping me prop it up to allow me to try and visualize it from a distance. They are absolutely amazing, definitely reach out to them if you need anything for sure.

Recently, I was looking for some dresser knobs and I wasn't sure of the exact size, Chris suggested I purchase one of each in a different size to see what works and they'd refund whichever didn't work. Really appreciated the help and suggestion. Found the perfect knobs too! One of the things that I think isn't brought up enough, is how well decorated the place is--it's truly a unique gem for hardware stores. Finally, and for a single lady, perhaps importantly, the place is affordable. I always end up finding some other things I need and NEVER feel like I'm breaking the bank. Shopping at EMH is a great way to put money into our local economy--would recommend to anyone.
